Nope, I've been cursed rooting for the wrong team in this town. The Mets are my Jehovah, and man is it hard to live each year without hope after say, May 15th. The news around this town would like us to believe that somehow this year might be different, but even when the Mets win, they have always been a team of If's. Hey, my Redsox fan, what if Buckner fields that ball? I say Mookie beats it, but that we'll never know. My point is, they do all this crazy crap (if I may say) and what's to show? Sportswriters, I ask, what if Pedro has no more in the tank? What if Beltran is a Burnitz? What if Piazza still can't hit? or worse, be traded? What if Reyes can't keep a healthy leg? What if Matsui is less than "little Matsui"? I know every team must eventually conquer all of their if's but the Mets, they are not a "doomed" team, just a terrible organization. I love 'em and always will, win or lose.

Can you do lunch Wednesday?

I am a woman of leisure at the moment so I'll be there for several hours so if you want to stop by it would be great!
