So I just completed 3 days of administering midterm conversation tests at one of my jr. highs. This is torture, for me and the kids. It makes my brain want to explode. Gah.

I think I need beer and pizza for dinner.

Also, I am never allowed to write a drunken update again. I sound like a valley girl when I do.

EDIT: For some reason, pizza and beer equals Garden State in my mind, so that's what I'm watching. It's also pouring here right now, just like in that scene near the end of the movie. Let's see if I can watch it without crying this time whatever

Thanks for helping me put that situation back into perspective. smile I'm not going to be leaving SG anytime soon, but I think I'm going to keep my modeling interests pretty much exclusively here. I'm not going to be working for people who think women should be skinny and not heard.

Wow, your program sounds amazing. Being in a small town you must be picking up a lot of Japanese. My friend who's teaching in Osaka loves it so much he contracted for an extra year. I really must visit one of these days. What drew you to Japan?

That's amazing. I admire you for learning Japanese and speaking it so well. Asian languages are too hard for me. I've got Russian and Spanish down, but Mandarin Chinese broke me.
