Thursday - The Headache

I think I had my first migraine. It started in the morning.... flashing colors and dancing stars in my left eye. I was told by my coworkers (many of whom are medical professionals) to drink coffee and take Tylenol. So I did. The flashing lights stopped but a new pain emerged in the center of my head. Reading was out of the question. And walking around wasn't fun either. Still I persisted. In the afternoon the pain moved again into my right temple. Any movement of my head was unbearable. By the end of the day I only had the residuals of pain but I was mighty cranky. Bowl of cereal. Asleep on the couch. I don't know what brought it on, but I hope it never happens again.
