i'm dying. i am having horrible allergic reactions to flea bites. my roommate moved out about a month ago, and a week or so ago i finally cleaned out her room and threw away her rug. she had cats. i assume fleas were living in the rug and when i through it away i opened up a gate to hell. now i am battling an almost invisible army of demon fleas. i have no idea how many there are, or where they are. i have currently killed 2. i, on the other hand, have been getting slaughtered. i probably have at least 50 or so flea bites on my legs. i am the only blood source in the house and the fleas are having a field day. in addition to these itchy bites, my body has decided to be allergic to them. so i break out into hives if i scratch them. during the day this is usually ok, but i scratch them at night, and so i break out by morning in giant evil hives. because of this, i have been taking antihistamines. i take one or two doses every 4-6 hours. if i dont the hives come back. these antihistamines cause me to be drowsy and loopy.

so to sum this up, i have itchy flea bites all over, i am covered in itchy hives, and i'm loopy drowsy all day long. how fun. i know it is time again to take more pills because my lip is getting swollen. why my lip? i dont know.

today however, i set off 2 fumigator things. one in the livingroom and one in my bedroom. i am hoping when i get home my apartment is still there and doesnt smell too bad. i am also hoping the demon fleas will be dead.

UPDATE--
the bug bomb did not do as well as i had hoped. it definately killed some cause i found some demonic fleas dead when i got home. however i have already found 3 live ones that i have slain. i fear this war is far from over.

i just purchased a new weapon to help me with this battle. i am hoping it ships soon and i have it in a few days.

if i have to kill every one of these fleas single handedly with my bare hands i will. they will taste my vengeance!
