ok. so i've been meaning for awhile now to talk about my favourite sandwich place in the whole world.
SANDWICH PLACE
2029 MISSION ST (between 16 & 17), SAN FRANCISCO, CA
so i have been going to the sandwich place at least 2 or 3 times a week every week for over two years now. i love this place. the sandwiches are great and the prices are super cheap. they have a lot of sandwiches with meat in it, of course. but, they are also very vegetarian friendly. so don't be afraid to check it out. if you do eat meat, i recommend getting whatever the special is.
ok, but the real reason i like the sandwich place is of my friend juan. juan runs the sandwich place and is a fucking top notch guy. great personality, super nice, and loves his job. his family has self owned this place for over 20 or 30 years now. i cant remember. its been awhile. so if you do go in, which you should, you should say hi to juan, and tell him kawai sent you.
also, how cool is this. i told juan that i wanted some sort of catfish sandwich, because i love catfish, and he is working out making one for the shop. he loves all kinds of food, and he does really excellent gourmet catering. whenever he is making something he will always just throw me down a sample of it. once i got an entire freshly cooked crab from him. awesome. but back to my sandwich. im so excited, i love catfish. he might even name it after me, cause well it would be my sandwich. and my name means the water. we'll see.
so if you are ever in the mission, and hungry, check out the sandwich place.
in other news i got my cellphone replace again, so lets see if this one last more than a week.
