I'm sorry sweetie.... A good friend of mine was in okinawa for a while when he was in the military... he says it was the best time of his life, so try to enjoy it for what it's worth.

what form of military are you in? my friend was in the air force and was stationed in japan for 3 years. he loved it. good luck!
