My mom is 65 and I really worry about her. She's in good health, and there's nothing to be concerned about. But she's like a close friend, and yeah, she's still my mom and I rely on her for help and support still.
My dad died a few years ago, way too young. He and I had a strained relationship at best, until about a year before he died, when we reconciled. A few months later, he got cancer.
So I really wish your dad well.

The turnout in federal elections is about 65-70%, but goes down each time. The turnout for provincial elections is lower, and the turnout for municipal elections is at best 50%. Like the US, a growing number of people are too apathetic to vote.
