I am gazing at the lovely glow of the skull lights that decorate the mini-cemetary in our front yard. 
Yep, I did Halloween decorations today, then went to Party City to see if there was anything else I wanted. I did come away with a few things but honestly it was just fun to look at everything. Seeing mass-produced rubber severed arms and such just puts a smile on my face.
Last night Marksy and I took the lovely Mandalic to dinner at Azteca, and I have to say it's the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The atmosphere was cool, the service was great, and the food was to die for. It's the only time I've ever eaten refried beans in a mexican restaurant that didn't have some horrific chemical undertaste. What the hell is that taste? The ones that comes in a can don't taste like that.
Then for dessert we all split a yummy fried ice cream dusted with cinnamon, in a honey-drizzled tortilla shell. 
After that, we went back to our place to watch a great movie, Match Point, starring the yummy Jonathan Rhys Meyers
and the almost-as-yummy Scarlett Johanssen. We shared a bottle of some delicious merlot and then called it a night. So yep, a pretty good weekend.

The last four weeks or so have been a busy mess. But things are winding down, and we sense we'll be able to get up there soon. The first shot is on me!
You guys should definetely come check our decorations (not that they're that spectacular or anything) and we'd love to see your graveyard. I will be out of town this weekend, but if you guys want to get together for disc golf or something the weekend of the slumber party, let us know
