All moved...now to actually put things away and make it look like a home.

moving soon...not so exciting.

why must even the most non-complicated (or at least supposed to be non-complicated) things always turn out to be some big complex disaster?
shewulf:
Where are you moving to? I hate moving. I have moved to many times. The next time I move I'm renting a moving truck so that I can make one trip not 10.
_sarah_:
I take it you're moving back to Caro? Where are you going to live? Did you get that teaching job?

I'm thinking about writing a book. A non-fiction book, at that. I was laying in bed last night and had all sorts of ideas running through my head and one kinda stuck. I'm becomming more and more interested in social outliers the more I become one. So the book would be something around that theme. Don't want to give out all the details already... wink

_sarah_:
Sounds interesting. I'm (finally) starting my novel after all these years.
_sarah_:
Hey. I can only turn flash off in the galleries, not the entire site. Bugger. blackeyed

Today I turned 30. 20 days ago my girlfriend, of almost 2 years, and I broke up. 12 days ago I lost my job. My life is a constant reminder that I must have been a very bad person in a past life, because I've been a good person in this life, but the karmic retribution just keeps on coming.
_sarah_:
I didn't know you lost your job. How terrible. I guess that explains the explosion.

I'm willing to drive up to Sterling Heights and treat you to dinner. (Mexican is my absolute favorite.) We'll call it a late birthday dinner or something, since I don't know how stubborn you are about somebody buying you something. ARRR!!!

Please listen to our music.
_sarah_:
I listened to The Autumns earlier this evening. I haven't listened to your stuff in a very long time. Perhaps it's time I downloaded it again.

Happy birthday. kiss

Hrm...well, I'm back. Anyone miss me?
_sarah_:
No.

I mean, yes.

I mean... when are we going to dinner? I work some weird hours, but they're the same weird hours every week, making me entirely too predictable.

I've never had Indian food, so that's an idea, even though we'll leave the place reeking of curry. Mexican is my absolute favorite, but my favorite Mexican restaurant is in Chicago, and that's a bit too far for us to drive.

Weekends are kind of packed until mid-August, and then I'm moving across town. Heh.

So, it's either a Monday night after 5:00, a Wednesday night after 9:00, a Friday night after 9:00, or sometime during the weekend of August 12th. biggrin

Oh, and when is your lease up? How long are you stuck with your ex?

Do you still have Sasha?

(Perhaps this should have been email.)

Oh, and your paper cannot be greater than my paper, for I received a 100%. She didn't allow extra credit, so there. We can only be equal, and that implies you turned one in, which you did not, so the point is moot. Nyah. tongue
