Midsummer camping and drunkenness this weekend. I plan to drink until I forget all the shit in my life...which means I'll probably drink until I remember nothing. Which is something I swore off a while ago, but I just don't give a fuck right now. Come, sweet blessed alcohol induced oblivion.

Awaiting my fate. Today has been a rough one, for that, and hopefully they get better, not worse.

Reunion was pretty cool. Got to see lots of people I don't get to see often...and people I hadn't seen in many years. Rekindled some old friendships, got some connections (it's all about connections when you're a musician), had fun.

Why?

Going to see Rush tonight, fuck yes! 30th anniversary tour, mhm. Too damn hot here for an outside show, if you ask me, especially since I am just now getting over my last sunburn, but it will so be worth it.

Home. Weekend was good. Still no definite answers, but at least we talked and had a couple of bad moments...but we got through and really had an enjoyable weekend and stuff.

Ugh, back to work tomorrow...haven't been at work since wednesday, was at a conference instead. Work related, but not actual work...which is always nice.

Going to GR tomorrow. Have a conference for work Thursday and Friday. Should be cool...even cooler is spending the nights with the girl. I'm hoping to stay until Sunday, but that just depends on if she wants me to or not...I'm hoping, but we'll see I guess.

Well, Highland Festival was a blast. I got the mother of all sunburns...my forehead has already blistered and popped twice...looks like it's going to do it again. Maybe soon it will finally stop that and start the lovely act of peeling. Thank god today is a holiday so I have a day to recover...that was some good (and sunny) times.

Off to the Highland Festival this weekend in Alma. Should be good times, I mean, I get to drink alot and run around in a kilt all weekend...just doesn't get any better than that...well, ok, if I wasn't going to be without a significan't other there with me it would be better.

I just wish this would all be done soon so I can start feeling better, one way or the other.

A littler better still today. The numbness is kinda subsiding...still very raw and such. The quiet resolve is still there...it's like knowing the outcome of someting before it happens...you just know that there is nothing you can do to control it or change it...call it learned helplessness if you will. But I am looking up at least and maybe tomorrow will be better too.
