wow...LOTS of things fit into the BDSM label, at least for me. I'd look at sexuality.org for more information on that. But loosley defined BDSM : Bondage Domination Submission Masochism, situations where people are being dominated or are dominating another person whether that means tying them up a little or caning them.

mad ... I just love when the entire scope of the poject changes 2.5months before the deadline. It really makes me feel confident in my probability of success.

Luckily those who wish to change the scope have little bearing on our grade given that our advisor is sure to side with us if we need to "pad" or final presentation to get the grade. This, my...

Aren't eyes amazing? love They are as unique as finger prints. The iris is so colorful and its just a tangle of pigmented proteins. Is my awe socialized? Have I been trained to adore them?
faith:
I agree, they are facinating entities in their own right, eyes have the ability to speak volumes in a silent language. So perfect.

I can understand that feeling... being separated from yourself by some sort of crust. It also happened to me. I had not thought of hot water as a mean to soften it. To my eyes, that you had such an idea proves you are a born scientific researcher. How do you name what we call l'esprit scientifique?

I'll second that.

I haven't read 'Chaos' for quite some time, so I'm a little vague on details, but it's a beautifully detailed and easily read explanation of chaos theory, and, by extension, fractal mathematics. Julia sets, an in-depth look at the Mandelbrot set, and other fascinating glimpses of iterative math. It's pretty cool.

Other favorites are 'In Search of Schroedinger's Cat' and 'The Holographic Universe.' Both are a little more geared toward quantum physics and the like.

Adios. RT
