So I am perusing the everything page as I normally do to see all the things I may have missed posted by people I respect and enjoy talking with or even just their work. I was alarmed and disgusted in a way to see that certain people are pimping their pages out for another person. A person whom did shitty things mind you and was dealt with by the staff. However, this "person" for lack of a better word to describe them, has circumvented the removal from site they were dealt. I won't go into details and I'm in no way upset with the SG site staff as they do a phenomenal job with what they find and/or have been alerted to in the past. I don't want to dwell on this topic for much longer in this post but I will say one more thing. Those of you pimping yourselves out for this "person" are truly as horrible and shitty towards people as they were. To think that people will willingly support another person from the site who engaged in horrible practices toward their own people in their region and attacks made against people of all genders not just off site, but on site for said horrible "person" mentioned above is despicable and you ought to be ashamed of yourselves for continuing to beat on people whom don't even have a clue that you're doing so. Shitty people engage in shitty practices. Those of you playing that game, I would hate to see what you do to people in real life if this is how you act on a website where everyone should get along and be supportive of one another, not exploitative and certainly not bitter, aggressive trolls who couldn't get their wishes granted and are now pouting like petulant children because their favorite toy got taken away from them. Absurd and childish as fuck.
On to things that don't suck.
I have many projects I am currently working on and I've made a few choices to work on a few things with other members of the site so far. I'd like to extend that invitation to others that I know and do not know yet as well! I am looking for people who are artistically driven in any variety of manners from video shooting/editing, art in the formats of painting, photography, sketching, sculpting and other visual art of those types, people who work on music of any genre interested in working with others here and also written word artists of all types from poetry to fictional and non-fictional works. I would like to build a collective of many talented people to work under the banner of my productions studio and we would be able to publish and trademark or copyright all work through my production company. I would love a visual and audio art installation of all or some of the above mentioned art forms and any others I might have missed that would fit this idea I have of a collective of art driven individuals here on site. I hope some of you will drop me a DM or just a comment if interested and let's see what we can come up with. I've spoken to a couple of you already so if you and I have discussed working on something recently, of course you're already included in these plans I have if you want to be!! I'm hoping for more creative types to work with though as well so I hope some of you at least ask what I'm thinking about as a first project for this collective I'd like to create! I hope to see many people with something to offer stopping by to discuss potential work with me and others in the future!!
The banks of the river of creativity in my mind are starting to not be able to hold the rushing water of creative thought within them. They are starting to erode and that creative flow is turning into a flood so expect new music and other projects to come forward from me in the near future!!
Nothing is black and white, in the sense of right and wrong and there are only varying shades of gray in this world. Something that seems unjustifiable no matter what can sometimes be the only correct and logical answer. Other times, the answer you think is correct always and does no harm can in some instances do the exact opposite of what you hoped would happen. Nothing is "etched in stone" never to change. We amend our lives and societal "norms" on a fairly regular basis. Oh, and white people (yes I am one of you I know.) please stop talking about being "woke" please? If you have to say you're woke, chances are you're missing the point and the mark of being "woke" entirely. Actions speak better, so go out and do things that make people see you are truly a progressive person trying to educate yourself on other people's cultures, social norms, acceptable behaviors and what others find truly offensive as well as a whole slew of other interesting things. Sorry about this little rant section, I get carried away sometimes.
So as I said above and I've said before in other blogs, I'm all for getting along with as many people as I can and I see no reason to just outright dislike someone for no reason. Some people go out of their way to be rude, annoying, combative and into harassing others. It's a shame but they exist. I try not to give them anything to work with but truth be told, I hate watching people in glass houses engaging in stone throwing as the old saying goes. I would give anything to be rid of the people just out to cause misery for others and whom enjoy the torturous things they do and say to others. It takes a real creep to get off on destroying other peoples' self esteem, psyche and physical health due to ignorant, rude and downright shitty comments to the victimized party. So if you see people talking shit about another member, SG or hopeful, please write staff and bring it to their attention. This is the only way we can get a jump on having these people removed for the disgusting things they say and do to others. I've in the past been guilty of naming people I wasn't exactly happy with and I've stopped the naming of individuals because honestly, they know who they are and bring more attention to them isn't my intention. They all certain believe that all "press is good press" no matter how trivial and absurd they are and seem. So please, if you see something, say something. It starts with every single one of us taking five minutes out of our day and saying "That's not right!" and reporting it via the proper channels to the proper people to handle said situations. Sorry to circle back around and sandwich the good parts of this blog with this urging to remove "garbage" people from the site whom don't respect anyone and certainly not the intelligence of the community whom they think they are duping and that they are being "covert" enough but they aren't and I know it's more than just myself noticing the garbage things being said by "garbage people" about good, friendly and open minded individuals who don't deserve the hassle these people will and have given to them and others. If any of what I've said makes you feel uncomfortable or that I surely cannot be right about this, maybe you should look inside and ask yourself if you're being "real" with yourself first and foremost.
