Up until yesterday I was planning to come home this weekend, and hopefully go see Tool on Sunday. Now I'm going to Download so not only am I seeing Tool, but also Deftones, Ginger & The Sonic Circus, Metallica, Secret Machines, Henry Rollins, and of course GnR.

It's about 18,000 words long and deals with the criticisms that he is a 'sell out', the economics of his relationship with New Line Cinema, and how he maintains the image of an 'alternative' filmmaker while working in mainstream Hollywood.
