I've been in the army for two weeks solid. I was on guard duty. This is worse than it sounds, but I won't trouble you with the details. It gave me a lot of time to things about things anyways.

A lot of the data that I assimilated in college I'm having time to digest in the army - which is actually very awesome for me.

I'm also able to speak in Hebrew allready, though I'm convinced that this was only done by way of my commanders coming in at night and playing tapes in Hebrew to us in our sleep, cause god knows we haven't been learning Hebrew by how they teach it to us, which is the following:

I found a way to download the Wikipedia and view it offline (useful since my computer is not currently linked in anyway to the net. Consequently I've become quite obsessed with Wikipedia - it's fucking unbeleivable how many topics that I never expected to be covered there are in fact covered in greater detail than I could even cover them myself.

Example: Chrono Trigger. Thanks to my fellow Wikipedians I finally know what happened to Schala...though the answer is quite disconcerting, truth be told.

Not only does Wilipedia have data on almost every video game ever released but it has quite a lot to say about all of the games that I've ever played.

It also has an assload to say about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Halo series, and StrongBad...not to mention Voltaire, William Shakespeare, Sir Frances Bacon and all the other usual Encyclopedia crap.

But wait, there is more. Wikipedia has quite extensive knowledge concerning both classical and modern literature, movies, and the intricate hollywood web that surrounds them...the thing just blows my mind.

I've finally reached a point where I'm somewhat at peace with Neitzche and even agree with him on some points...at the same time I've never been more at odds with religoun than I am now.

The army in it's infinite wisdom chose to annex two weeks of my time straight this last fortnight and intends to do the same this coming fortnight. Atop that outrage (which I intend to remedy) the fuckers have disallowed me normal sleep for 10 days consecutively. Consequently I'm having an exceedingly hard time communicating both verbally and virtually. My appologies.

I know that I have a lot on my mind but I simply can't express myself clearly right now so I'm going to leave this entry as it is...I'll complete my Hebrew course soon and then I should have time for blogging again.
