Good post! Id say that talking about the pointlessness of everything is nihilistic, but of course, any form of action is positive and non-nihilistic to a degree, so that has to be ruled out.

It's not sucha stupid question as you make it out to seem. I know of dozens of Krav Maga institutes world wide completely separate from the Israeli Army itself. Sorry for tryin to understand you and being interested in your unusual life. So sorry. It will never happen again.

Krav Maga is a fighting art (from what little I do know about it) and it is a survival art. Thats an asset as copmared to other trad sports arts like Taekwondo or Karate. They are steeped with ceremony and useless forms. Not that they suck.The fighting art in modern "ancient" martial arts are diluted and explioted by dojo-dojjang owners and their investors....Rarely is training about the art but rank testing and belt fees and graduating making room for new students...In the end at least with Krav Maga you've learn actual applicable skills that you can use if needed in a crisis....Its'a hard to say that anyone could be attacked and you could spar your attacker away...In the real world women can't count on her rapist getting into fighting stance and taking rounds. Krav Maga teaches how to defend in real world combat situations...and thats whats gonna save your life...not learning how to kick someone in the face if you try realy hard and stretch for an hour prior....A rapist won't let ya warm up....Does this make sence?

one more thing...have you trained in krav maga?
