have you ever seen a prize fight, wherein one boxer lands a brutal blow, the kind the annoucer winces at. and the guy just doesn't go down, doesn't drop, even to one knee, even though it's for the best to just get the hell out of there, call it a day, take the big L and a smaller ridiculous paycheck. and the other guy struts for a minute, then tries everything he can to beat and bloody the guy, til the bell rings, and they slip to there own corners. Well, i feel somethin for the guy who is getting the stuffing knocked out of him. no, i feel it.

i'm sick again. not good, i never get sick. well, until now. i've been more sick in the past three months than the previous 6 years, for the love of all that ain't too holy. what the f is up with that shit.

the play by play ain't too interesting, so i'll save you. just glad to be getting to the next round, wake-up call and all. lessons: be ever so careful who you trust, who you rely on, and if at all possible, most preferably, don't rely on any one. even if you've known them for ever and three days. just make sure your own ass is covered. multitasking and problem solving and improv will not necessarily get you out of every problem, but it's a really good way to start.
