Top five things I did today:
Uno- completely avoided even a hesitant look at anything to do with responsibleness, all day geek fest
Zwei- I ate breakfast, within 6 hours of waking. Truly phenomenal
San- cup o joe at the coffee hut, while listening to music WAY too loud on stupid recently fixed iPod
Quatre- read a bit and a half out of a good book
Cinque- drove around with the top down, and liked it
Bottom five things today:
One- didn't do anything but sit on my ass and slowly devolve into a fattened bio-mass
Two- ex stopped by, and it was not comfortable, plus she talked about the cats, and that makes me sad
Three- forgot to mail important stuff, like bills and such..
Four- gave Pops the brush off, cuz i didn't have anything to say
Five- failed to take over the world,

So what's The Confusion about? I've read and enjoyed Snow Crash and Cryptonomicon and am waiting for Quicksilver to come out in paperback so I can
a) afford it and
b) hold its 900 pages with my puny wrists,
but I haven't heard of The confusion...
anyway, seems you've got a lot going on! It's good to hear that half of it is good.
