I've officially become one of the nerdiest people in existence, I think. I pre-ordered the new Apple OS, Tiger.

Who pre-orders a fucking operating system?? Only the nerdiest of the nerds. So there you have it.

I'm actually rather proud. At least I'm authentic, and not one of these geek-chic poseurs. I have the math degree and social skills to prove it.

I really can't...

April is indeed the cruelest month. Why does spring always piss me off? Is it that damned bright sun? The sight of happy young lovers? The bastards.

Not to mention that I really hate that word. 'Lovers.' It just sounds so ridiculous. It always reminds me of something one might find in trashy romance novels. I know, I'm weird.

Anyway, fuck spring.

I saw Sin City the night before last. It was pretty good. Lot's of interesting twists and Easter eggs, which I'm dying to talk about. But since I don't want to give any of the story away, I'll just have to restrain myself.

I've had a nasty cough for a week or so. I can't decide if it's just irritation caused by the fragrance in...

I spent the week with MathGirl. It was good, even if it was a 6 hour drive to get to where she lives. I can't believe how great she is. Brilliant, gorgeous, and apparently interested in me.

I did have the presence of mind to answer, "The bed is fine." upon being told, "Well, you can either sleep on the couch, or in bed with...

Yay! I have a friend! I'll always remember this as my first.

So...random rant that's been on my mind: Apple released an iPod mini with a 6 GB hard-drive, at the price previously charged for the 4 GB model. The price of the 4 GB went down, of course.

"So what?" you ask.

I bought my iPod mini not two months ago! Apple has done...

Yesterday was Pi Day. I ate enough French silk that I thought I was going to suffer a sugar-induced coma.

It was also Einstein's birthday, a fact which I forgot until this morning. I blame all the sugar.

So I'm getting really tired of trying to figure out what I'm going to do when I graduate. Where I'm going to grad school and all that. At least all my applications are in.

But I'm sure no one really wants to hear about all that. It's Firday, and I have no idea what I'm doing this weekend.

Last weekend my friends went to this...

Yup, all Samuel L.'s collars were pretty and red. And he lost them all. Bastard.

Don't feel bad; most people don't know of Oberlin. It's pretty small.

I'm really going to do it this time. I'm going to write in this journal. Now that SG has enticed me back with glorious offers, what else can I do?

I can't decide if I should go back to bed, or if I should continue trying to learn this Cocoa thing for developing software for Apple OS X.

Bed sounds good.

I've given up on collars for the BMF...he lost like 5 of them in the course of a couple months!

Over the last few days I've watched all of the Star Wars movies to date. Again. I'm a fan of course, but they also anger me. So do fantasy genre books. A person grows up watching and reading things like that, with the Force and magic and all that, and one really wants it all to exist, you know? But somewhere along the line I...
