Over the last few days I've watched all of the Star Wars movies to date. Again. I'm a fan of course, but they also anger me. So do fantasy genre books. A person grows up watching and reading things like that, with the Force and magic and all that, and one really wants it all to exist, you know? But somewhere along the line I lost it - realized that there is no Force, no magic, nothing. I think it's like finding out that Santa Claus isn't real, but so much worse. Now I have science instead, and although I enjoy it it's hardly a replacement for magic. I think I'd trade it all in for a lightsaber.
