Days without writing to MathGirl: 8
My new hat arrived today. Woo! Black snap-brim fedora. Two inch brim, low crown. Very stylish. I'll take some pictures, I promise.
Now if my new guitar would only arrive. It was supposed to be in stock Monday. Monday arrived, and I checked - they said they'd have it in stock Tuesday. It is now Wednesday. The website says it's due "10-12-05." I suspect this is only because they haven't yet updated it to read "10-13-05."
I saw Serenity last night. I actually really liked it. I thought the Kaylee character was great. Hot and nerdy, just how I like them.
But apart from that, I thought the dialogue was clever, and the story entertaining. And all I really care about is that my sci-fi is entertaining. It doesn't have to deliver some serious message.
I then went out and had four or five beers.
Work today was a lot of fun.
