I had to work on the ambulance yesterday. 
It was a good reminder of why I left it before. While I do enjoy helping people in emergency situations, most 911 calls are for bullshit. 99% of the people who call for an ambulance need either a hug or a kick in the ass. I'm forbidden from doing one and I don't want to do the other.
It kills me how little dignity people have. I would be ashamed of myself if I called 911 for a scraped knee or a cold (two of my better calls yesterday)
