I went driving around today, trying to find a part time job.( I hate to do it, but the bills are stacking up ) I love seeing the aftermath of a storm.
I hate having to clean up all the tree branches and other shit in my yard, but it's worth it to see all the destruction courtesy of Mother Nature.
We got a shitload of rain this weekend and lots of places around here are under water. Th farmland on the north end of town actually has waves right now.
Of course, the usual band of geniuses have run their cars into the ditches. (don't go 80 mph on slick streets 'tardo). Plus we had real wind with this one so there are lots of trees down. Some of those took out wires with them.
I don't neccessarily with any bad luck to anyone, but it's always nice to be reminded of our place around here
