Oh I need updating! Goodness Christ!
Okay well, where did we leave off? Thursday?! JESUS, it's almost Thursday again. Here have been my last few days
Thursday, sat around in the sun alllll day, worked 6-10, my first shift, went very well. Came home, slept
Friday, sat in the sun until about 4, hung out and smoked up. At 7, went to Kat's house for the cake part of the party. Her family is hilarious, I've met some of her dad's side before. But this was her mom's side. Grandma, grandpa, three uncles and an aunt were all there, plus me, andrea, ashli and jason. Her grandparents are like 80 and 85 too, they're just hysterical, her gay uncle made a comment about cracking open a coconut by winging it around in (grandmas) bra and letting it fly into something. It was grand.
Went out to esquimalt lagoon, which got busted up pretty quick as there was a crowd of 70-80 kids and a very large bonfire, so someone complained. I think dry grad was Friday night. We all went to Jason's after and about 15-20 people showed up. I stayed up chatting with Dillan till about 4-4:30. Didn't get that drunk, but I was rather stoned. Stayed over at Jason's,
Saturday went shopping the next morning with Kat, Andrea and Dillan. Bought Kat her birthday pants and shirt, bought myself a pair of beige dickies and a cute shirt. Worked 6-11. Got in a very pissy mood because of that. My new boss is a bit of a dink, he has to show you how to do everything 5 (five) times before you can do it. This includes WASHING WINDOWS AND SWEEPING. Like, fuck man, I've MANAGED a place a lot like this one. It's ok, I can wash some windows with vigor.
Sunday I called EI for my check. Sat around with mom for a bit, wasn't too nice of a day really. Went to work 6-11 again. Angelina and I had the place to ourselves from 8-11, which was so nice. We closed all on our own and I'm assuming that we did well, I'm not fired yet.
Yesterday I stripped more wallpaper. Two more walls are done now. Kat came over after 3 and we hung out and ate dinner. Then she went home for cake. She came back and we headed to the liquor store, our first *buying liquor legally together* we drank some outta the bottle on the way to a hockey game. Met Ashli and her bf's little bro. Watched the game, they kicked ass 7-0!!! Then we drove Kelly (the lil bro) home and met up with Reid (the big bro), got pot, got stoned. Got dropped off at about 1:30 by Glanford School, walked Kat home. We stopped on the way and were gunna smoke a bowl, my pipe literally FLEW outta my pocket and smashed into seven pieces. So that really pissed me off, smoked a half joint/half smoke and I walked home. Actually I jogged half the way, VERY VERY drunk, so I also managed to lose whatever left outta a gram that we had left (well, my half). So I am pissed off about that too.
Today I got up and felt like shit, but I'm feeling better now. Serena emailed me and I called her, gunna go up there today at 4:15 and stay the night. She sounded very very peppy on the phone, so I'm kind of excited to see her. And staying the night was her idea, very soon after I said that I was coming up she asked Sue if I could stay. So unusual. I'm enthralled that I get to see her.
Tomorrow I have to do laundry and pack. Hopefully I don't work, I don't even know. Kelly schedualled me for the whole weekend which I'd already told him that I couldn't work, so he ended up giving me a week off. But I don't really care if I get called in, I need the money!!
Friday we leave, we're gunna take the 4pm ferry and see how far we can get in a day, it's about an 18 hour drive.
Saturday we get to Lethbridge (or Calgary first, depends on what Allison wants to do). Staying till sometime Monday.
This week has been so good so far. I've gone out just about as much as I've worked.
I need to go downtown and buy a new pipe today I think. Serena said she'd give me hers, but I think she said Jeremy has it right now. I kinda want a new beauty. We'll see.

on those rolls of film I got developed were some pictures of my bathroom before I tore up the floor, put in a new sink and faucet, and painted the cupboards. I almost forgot how ugly the floor was. I painted the walls a colour I thought was a really faint green (I believe "irish creme"), but it is amazing once you paint the whole expanse how green green is...
I am contemplating buying some photo albums and organize the big box of old photos sitting in the closet. We'll see how early it awaken in the morn...
