The woman standing in line in front of me has the most amazing collarbone Ive ever seen. Its not poking out, not too bony. But nice. Shes wearing one of those low-cut shirts just showing enough cleavage to be sensual but not enough to be too provocative, and her necklace is resting right on top of the sexiest part about her, right at that little dip, the space between her collarbone and throat. She has the thickest, shiniest black hair Ive ever seen and her eyes are haunting and her mouth is pouting and Im staring.
The man behind me starts talking loudly on his cell phone and Im jolted back to that sudden shock of reality. Im disgusted with this crass, fat man for ruining such a beautiful moment, and I pay and leave the bookstore.
Im trying to take pictures of downtown from a disposable camera as I drive, and I almost hit the truck in front of me. I hit the brakes, and cant help but giggle. Jack Johnson sings about pretending to be 2000 miles from here, and I think how coincidental it is, but then again my life is nothing but coincidence lately so why is it even coincidence anymore?
