What's the best thing that happened to you today?

I had cake. It was good. It made me feel happy. And then my husband asked to lay down by me and take a nap. That was even better than cake.

On mother's day I didn't even get a card... we just went out to breakfast. It might seem sweet of him but I'm not a big breakfast eater and we go out to eat EVERY weekend since he is.

But I'm thinking I'll let him buy me a sub and that's it. It will be muuuuuuch less expensive and I can rationalize that much easier.

This trime he knows he has to do something for me because it's my 30th birthday and he's going to have to work. That is really just good news to me because it means I get to have a girls night out.
