Tomorrow is my birthday, and I have been prepping. Went to lunch with my aunt, and we got our meal comped because I know all the managers where we went. Yay for free steak! Of course we tipped our server really fat, I used to work with him too.

Got a surprise bottle of Grey Goose from my mother that I am currently not speaking to, which never hurts. I think she is trying to get back on my good side, which is not going to happen.

Went and got my hair cut and my eyebrows done, so I won't look like a yeti on my bday.

Called the place I want to go tomorrow for appetizers and martinis, and they do in fact have a lovely beef carpaccio on the menu, I am in raw beef heaven.

So, it's all set, and now all I have to do is stay bundled up for the night and have screwdrivers. I bet I can do that. I haven't had one since the ones I had on the plane going to and from Seattle, I feel I am due
