I was reading about your neck pain. So sorry you have an owie, but it sounds like you're on top things.

I like when people say, "I have painkillers." You folks must actually, like, go to the doctor and shit. I've had insurance for a few years now, and I still haven't gone. Maybe obtaining painkillers could be a motivating factor. tongue

you make me proud! Sounds like a perfect evening!! I say Desperado is next, do them in order! I LOVE that trilogy and I'm a huge Robert Rodriguez fan! He wrote a really cool book called "Rebel Without a Crew" about the making of El Mariachi, which is a very entertaining read! I highly recommend it! I went to the book signing, and I'm happy to report he was really nice, and friendly! My friend Amp asked for a hug and got one, I was jealous. smile
I also saw him at a pre-screening of Desperado. He is so freakin' cute!

Enjoy!!!!!

Sheis ok I guess - we found a place that is open till 10pm and took her in - they kept her overnight and sent the kittens home with us - my brother came and got them and one of them died. They picked her up this morning and took her to the family vet and he said she has an infection in her uterus and probably had it for a while - she might have to have it taken out...

So today I get to babysit my grandfatehr, my niece AND the cats...

I have not been to the fair in forever but I think the last time I went I had deep fried cheesecake!

J is going to kill you when he finds out where I got these recommendations. He hates anything that isn't Used Cars.

We need to have a birthday dinner at my place for Raedyn sometime soon. I only get to use my silver a few times a year!

I really really loved "The Opposite of Sex"

For the moment, "Saved" is one that I'm enjoying when I catch it.

My day at the office seems to go by faster with my, "if it's past lunch time...the next day is already here" mentality.

People and their strange idiosyncrasies, eh?

SHELLY BUSTS A MOVE!

My last little rant about the Ministry show..

Friday night I went to pick up Jodi for the concert, it's become an annual tradition for her to attend these
shows with me whenever Ministry tours. She also went to see them twice with me while i was living in
Manhattan..
Of course because of my silly highway driving phobia, she made...

Tea is the English addiction!! I drink a lot of (a lot of!) coffee but there a just certain times of the day that only tea will do. But none of the fancy stuff (though I do like that a lot too, Earl Gray etc etc) sometimes it has just got to be PG Tips. Hooray for builders tea!

Have a great weekend yourself.
brankauti:
That is AWESOME! I loved reading about your stage-dancing antics. Things here are well. I am getting myself together and I think it will go a long way towards making things easier between Deke and I. And in the end, that's all I can ask for. I am being true to myself, and he is being true to himself. I think it will all work out, however it happens. smile It's nice to be in a good place again. I even slept last night! YAY!

Tonight i'm actually stepping out of the house to go see Ministry play in worcester..
to say i'm excited is a bit of an understatement.

I don't know why, but whenever i have a chance to see Ministry live...
i kind of regress back to being a teenager all over again.

and for those of you who don't know my hubby or read his journal.....

What's up sistah ?!

The song 'Sober on the Quilt" was performed by the band Porno was in when I first met him, 8 years ago. The name of that band was Something Left After Misfortune (AKA S.L.A.M.), they were a serioulsy heavy metal band. Nothing soft or pretty, Porno is a pretty hard core drummer.

I really wish you lived closer, I could use your sage (read wizened) ears right now. My weekend has been to say the least, devious.

More tomm, when I am not so freaking tired and more sober.

I hope you know it was not at all a big deal to pick you up, and that I could've dropped you at home last night, too. unless Dorian just wanted to pop by anyway...

anyway, I'm glad I got to see you.

p.s. we should hit up boston and go eat in chinatown and watch the omen very very soon. oxox
