Well, a vasectomy is *much* easier and its success can be measured. I don't know how the costs would compare, but I would imagine that having tubes tied would cost more than having the vas deferens sealed.
I knew that the procedure was exactly what I wanted since I'd been wanting to have it done for years. When I left the outpatient surgery unit, I saw a young woman with her daughter. Cute kid. Seemingly well-behaved. And, all of a sudden, I felt gloriously happy as I wouldn't be having one myself. Relief! (One time I feared that I might have been part of an impregnation---I don't know if I've ever been quite so freaked out in my life)

Well, hey, the same thing happened to Cindy Brady! And, unlike Cindy, I'm pretty certain that you weren't being obnoxious and braggadocious (sp?) before the show started. I completely understand why such a situation would be so anxiety-provoking. In a one-on-one meeting with a manager today, I completely blanked out on what I was going to say.
