If you've never heard of Meg Myers, great artist (her cover of "Running Up That Hill is better than Kate Bush's IMO), been loving her for a few years now. This song came up today and I just think it's very appropriate for some reason, so I'm sharing with you:
"And I was in the shadows when you met me,
I was broken, I was barely alive.
My heart was like a ghost town at sundown.
It was a beautiful disguise;
A beautiful lie.
I was broken, I was barely alive.
My heart was like a ghost town at sundown.
It was a beautiful disguise;
A beautiful lie.
I'll hit you when you're down on one knee,
I'll give you my heart when I'm six foot deep.
It's beautiful.
Baby, my love's like a funeral."

jacleric:
I have to agree, although it is Stranger Things heresy... Meg's version of "Running Up That Hill" is much more dramatic
