I have noticed a trend when talking to my female friends about what they like in the bedroom, and that trend is I'm way too old-fashioned for anyone nowadays LOL

I'm not kink shaming anybody, but when every one of my female friends talk about what they're into, I've heard of it but I have no desire to do any of it with anyone, not just my friends. Pegging, rope play, bondage, golden showers, BDSM, the list goes on and on.

I've always joked that I'm vanilla and have no kinks or fetishes, but I'm beginning to think that I may be even more bland than vanilla. And no, that doesn't just mean I only want it in missionary position, but for fuck's sake, it's almost scary the things that some people are into! (Again, from my perspective, not kink shaming anyone who is into those things or thinks that those things are tame LOL)

Maybe it's a good thing that no woman wants me, cuz if this is typical of what women want nowadays, all I would do is disappoint any that tried to sleep with me. This could be the universe's way of telling me that my time is over, and that I've been left behind...

I think @Vithen is exactly right.  A whole lot of this is much more social than sexual - wanting to be cool, and edgy is cool.  Same reason we're seeing so many more throat and face tattoos: when I was 20, a full sleeve really marked you out of the crowd.  To prove you're edgier than the average bear you now you need dermals in your eyelids and for someone to piss in your ear while you're suspended over a bed of glue-traps.  It's the danger of actually believing in social stigmas enough to feel the need to remove them all.  There's no way left to tittilate or be naughty that's even half reasonable.  It's an internalized and thoughtless escalator with no end.
