I have a casual friend here in LV who has been losing lots of weight through eating better and exercise; he started showing pics of himself without a shirt on as he is proud of what he's done, but has since taken to posting pics of himself with nothing on (side shots or angled where nothing is showing). I respect him for his courage and his hard work, since as a lot of ladies here can attest, it's not always easy to be naked on camera. I was telling an online friend about him, and he said, "You've done IG videos where you have your shirt off but it's just above your nipple line, would you ever do something like that guy?"
"Not a chance," I said, "I would rather DIE than someone see my naked gut."
"Doesn't that make you a hypocrite?" he came back with, which was so stupid I just stopped talking to him and have only kept it casual since.
Hypocrisy would be if I WAS taking nude pics of myself not fit and was being "grossed out" by those I'm attracted to (in this case women) doing the same thing. You can support someone in doing something you think is brave without feeling the need to do said thing yourself. I have no idea what the OL friend was trying to say, but hypocrisy isn't the word he was going for LOL
