In case anyone ever thinks what makes me "qualified" to give relationship advice (especially since I've been single about half my adult life, and single currently over 3.5 years), here are a few things to consider:
1. I observe and listen, a LOT. You'd be surprised what people can tell and show you, so I take mental notes about what does and doesn't work in others' relationships
2. I read, a LOT. Anything that catches my attention I read, and a good portion of it has to do with relationships, so I retain a lot of what I read
3. Like the old adage goes (and it's rude as hell, but it's still a saying): those who can, do; those who can't, teach LOL
