so the piece I posted here yesterday I also copied and posted on my FB, and one of my male friends chose to comment trying to be funny and crass. I didn't comment back or respond to it, because even though I know he'd say he was "just joking" he's something I could never be: a he-man woman hater.
Now, I understand he's been burned quite a few times with women (not my place to spill any details), and I can see why he feels that way, but I'm just not wired to be like that. Yes, I've had bad luck with women, yes I'm gonna spend the rest of my days alone, but I don't hate women because of it. How could I? Blaming all women for the shitty things a few have done to you is just like blaming a different race, nationality or religion for a bad experience with one or two of that group. It just doesn't make sense.
You can't go around letting the things a few did define how you feel about the many. It's not healthy, it's not logical, and ultimately it's not practical. Besides, women are amazing: they're gorgeous, they're soft, they smell good, they taste even better (giggity), and they make up half of the human population on this mudball we're all clinging to as it hurtles through the cosmos. So yeah, I could never be a he-man woman hater, nor would I ever want to be.
