Since I'm in a slightly better headspace than I was this last week (still won't trust a woman again beyond friendship, but I've internalized it and now am not being a dick to everyone I talk to), I thought I'd talk about something else that irritated me.
You've all seen the "sub or dom?" type questions, I'm sure. One person on IG I think posted that and I commented "Neither" because that's my honest answer. She came back with, "Nobody's neither, you're either one or the other. You have to pick a side." Which is a very ignorant and limited view point, but I have to ask (I didn't ask her, cuz I don't engage with ignorant people): why the fuck not?
Not kink shaming, but I am definitely not turned on by dominant women (fem-dom actually really repulses me, to be honest), so by that logic I'm not submissive. But, women who are submissive in bed also don't do anything for me (it feels degrading to me; again, no kink shaming, those are just my feelings about it), so by that logic I can't be dominant either. So why can't I be neither?
I honestly don't understand how people can just make a snap blanket judgement about someone...actually, I can, cuz humans do that all the damn time. You would think we would learn better, but I guess not :/
