1. What is the color of your hairbrush? Black and gray, but my beard comb is wooden and brown :)
2. Name a food you never ever eat: Onions, unless they're diced up really really tiny or ground up as salt/powder for flavoring. They make me gag, have from when I was a baby and still do >:(
3. Are you typically too warm or too cold? Too cold, which is why I'm a desert rat born and raised. If it gets below 60 F I'm cold
4. What were you doing 45 minutes ago? Getting gas and taking my car thru one of those automated car washes; she was way too filthy after all the dust, wind and rain over the last few weeks
5. What is your favorite confectionary bar? Candy hurts my teeth, but I still love Reese's, in either a cup or pieces
6. Have you ever been to a professional sports event? Yes, under duress, and for fuck's sake they are BORING!!
7. What is the last thing you said out loud? "I'll eat lunch in a bit, still not hungry," to my parents after I got back from getting the car fueled up and washed.
8. What is your favorite ice cream? Cheesecake or anything with chocolate chip cookie dough in it <3
9. What was the last thing you had to drink? Alcohol? A Newcastle, 3 months ago, on the 3rd date of the woman who eventually broke my heart. Beside that? A salted caramel latte this morning.
10. Do you like your wallet? I do! It's a Swiss Army brand (yes, like the knife) that doesn't demagnetize the cards in it
11. What was the last thing you ate? A breakfast sausage crunch wrap from Taco Bell.
12. Did you buy any new clothes last weekend? I ordered a pair of cargo shorts, since I've lost so much weight and size that the shorts I owned from last year just slide off my ass as soon as I move in them.
13. The last sporting event you watched? Besides a game being on somewhere I am, I don't watch sports. But I guess watching a college football game championship at a bar on the 1st date with the heartbreaker (yes, I went outside of my comfort zone for her)
14. What is your favorite flavor of popcorn? Very rarely eat popcorn, but I guess just regular movie theater popcorn when my sons and I go see a movie.
15. Who is the last person you sent a text message to? My evil twin Karen. Gods I miss good morning/good night texts :'(
16. Ever go camping? HELL NO! We developed indoor plumbing and domiciles for a reason LOL
17. Do you take vitamins? Every day! I know I don't eat vegetables like I should, so I want to stay healthy and around
18. Do you go to church every Sunday? Never been, never baptized either. I'm a pagan and a solitary practioner, if I need to get a hold of my Gods I don't need a special building to do it.
19. Do you have a tan? LOL no. I am a natural redhead, I either burn or look pale. One of the reasons I love all of my tattoos LOL
20. Do you prefer Chinese food over pizza? No, pizza is just so much easier to have.
21. Do you drink your soda with a straw? I don't drink soda, but when I do not usually
22. What color socks do you usually wear? Black or grey, although I do have a couple pairs of white socks.
23. Do you ever drive above the speed limit? Always. At least 5 miles over.
24. What terrifies you? The thought of dying. If I could live forever (and wouldn't have to kill my family or innocents to do so) then I absolutely would.
25. Look to your left, what do you see? 4 prints framed on my wall: Rocket Raccoon, Deathstroke the Terminator, Atreyu and Falcor from The Neverending Story, and a piece of my late Jax that my daughter had commissioned after we had to put him down almost 3 years ago :'(
26. What chore do you hate? I don't really hate any of them; if they gotta get done, I just do them.
27. What do you think of when you hear an Australian accent? Most of the time, it's damn sexy <3
28. What’s your favorite fizzy drink? Don't have one (if I drink, it's either shots or ports and stouts)
29. Do you go in a fast food place or just hit the drive-in? Drive-thru sometimes, but I have no problem walking in if the car line is way too long.
30. What is your favorite number? 77 or 9, no real reason behind it LOL
31. Who's the last person you talked to? My parents.
32. Favorite cut of beef? Not really a steak guy, so...normal, I guess?
33. Last song you listened to? "Alone With the Sea," by Hurt. That song feels so haunting to me
34. Last book you read? Pathfinder 2nd Edition "Lost Omens: Gods and Magic"
35. Favorite day of the week? Sunday. It's usually the start of my work week, I like my coworkers, and the boss isn't there so we can relax and goof off in between calls ;)
36. Can you say the alphabet backwards? If I go slowly, sure.
37. How do you like your coffee? I LOVE coffee, but I like my sugar and soy creamer with some coffee mixed in LOL
38. Favorite pair of shoes? I guess the slides that I wear around the house. Otherwise, shoes are just functional :/
39. Time you normally go to bed? Between 10 and 11 pm before this quarantine started; now, around 1 am.
40. Time you normally get up? 5-5:30 am during workdays, between 8-9 am on my weekend
41. What do you prefer, sunrise/sunsets? Sunsets. I am a night person by nature, but I've gotten used to seeing Ra creep over the horizon over the years of working dayshift.
42. How many blankets on your bed? During the winter, a blanket and a big-ass t-shirt quilt my mom made me from some of my old shirts; other than then, I keep one for my feet cuz I've reached that age where if they're cold (and they seem to be cold a lot) then I can't sleep.
43. Describe your kitchen plates? Uh, WTF? They're plates, white with some kind of design around the edges
44. Do you have a favorite alcoholic beverage? Ports and stouts. The beer should be so dark you can't see through it when you hold the glass up, and bitter like my heart LOL
45. Do you play cards? I can play stuff like rummy and go fish, but I usually don't play. I understand how to play poker and blackjack (I do live in Vegas, after all) but I don't gamble. I know where my paycheck comes from LOL
46. What color is your car? Metallic grey.
47. Can you change a tire? Yes, but I'm not fast at it. I have more lower body strength than upper, so it usually takes me a bit
48. Your favorite Country? I've only been to Mexico, Ireland and England, but in England the locals (not in London, but in the small towns and villages) were so warm and friendly they made me feel at home. Plus, Irish accents...and the women were wearing skirts when I visited in January, bless their sexy little hearts :D
49. Favorite job you’ve ever had? It's not one I get paid for, but writing. I truly do love writing; anything else is just stuff I do because I'm human and have to earn money to live. I do like where I work right now, though, which does help :)
50. How did you get your biggest scar? I have a chunk of my left wrist that got taken out by a door on a slot machine that didn't want to stay open. In fact, all of my scars (which are only on my arms and hands) were from working in the field I've been in for over 22 years of my life
