Instruction for fixing my car. Expect time to do this, under five minutes.
1.) Remove trim piece.
2.) Unplug wires
3.) Remove 6mm nuts to remove mirror.
4.) Put new mirrior on
5.) Replace nuts and plug in
6.) Replace trim
What I did:
1.) Remove trim
2.) Unplug wires
3.) Remove 6mm nuts
4.) Drop 2 of the 3 nuts on the ground
5..) Spend 15 minutes looking for nuts.
6.) Find one of the missing nut
7.) Drive to Home Depot to look for a 6mm nut
8.) Look at 3,000,000 nuts and bolts they have.
9.) Get tires of looking and ask someone where they keep metric nuts, told that I at the only Home Depot that does not have metric nuts.
10.) Drive to another store to look for a 6mm nut.
11.) Find a package of five.
12.) Replaced mirror, put nuts on and plug in the wires, and replace trim
So I manage to do a 5 minute job in just under 90 minutes.
