Ok so I figured for my first blog I'd like to discuss something I find somewhat annoying to me with the site. I need to begin with that I do love the site, I do have a great respect for the women who really play an active role on here who develop how this site works and the photographers who help. But with that being said I have noticed more and more over the last few years this site has drastically changed how it is run from how it used to be run.
When this site first was started you rarely had an SG who had a set make it pink with a photographer. I swear that now and today it is nearly impossible for the normal girl out there who submits a set without the expressed use of a "popular" photographer from the site to ever have their set make it to the front page. What is more bothersome than that to me is the fact that the entire principle of the site is lost when you only use a select handful of the same photographers for every girl now. Please do not get me wrong. I have a great deal of respect for the photographers on the site and I know they are doing something they love and enjoy, but has anyone not noticed that without the stamp of the "popular" photographer that the normal girl who submits a set pretty much has next to no chance of ever getting anywhere on here?
I feel we've come a long way with how we should view women and I really do appreciate that this site gives women the sense of empowerment that they really do need in society today. For me personally this site was always a pleasure simply for the fact it's a tasteful way to express a woman's sexuality while showing them as individuals and not simply objects.
I guess I close with this. I find beauty in so many different ways in this world and I loved that this site always tried to bring that out with the women and men alike who used this site. I just would love to know that if your normal girl took the time to really shoot a nice photo set that it would be able to grace the front page without the expressed consent that the only way she will do that is by using a house photographer from the site. I love how this site is about being an individual and I love that so many people take the time to make this a place where the standards of women can be thrown aside and beauty is more than just skin deep. So please in the future I truly would love to see more girls on here get the credit that they so dearly deserve, even if they don't use a photographer who has already shot 100s of girls' sets on here.
