Okay, yesterday was interesting...
I managed to drag myself out of bed and get to class on time, except... well... class was not on.
Long story short, the lecturer was on strike and I did not know anything about it.
I did not stand around waiting for a class that did not happen, hell no. The lecturer is normally very punctual (and considering they were on strike out the front of university so it was impossible to miss) so, besides giving other classmates the warning (it is good to know I was not the only one taken off guard), I hang around campus and attended some student social groups then left early (I was not feeling that social-able that day, I was invited to see a movie, but, meh)
but, managed to sit down and watch a show re-union (It was good to see "hey hey it's Saturday" again)
then sat down and played Half life 2 until 2am. Good times.
Oh, I signed up for a speed dating event that is happening locally. I must admit, it was one of those "oh,what the heck" moments that I signed on for it. Unfortunately, the event was completely booked so I have to wait until November (I have over-done the whole "Online dating" scene).
But, I think it would do me some good to go to. I been bit of a social recluse as of late ( I am introverted by nature so it is not that much of surprise) and, well, I not big on going to bars (I must admit, it is fantastic to go with some friends but by myself... No) and dealing with drunks is not the most fun thing in the world.
