I've had these saved on my phone from last year when my little brother and I went Galaxy Con. It was his first time ever going to a convention so he was massively excited. I've been to Anime Iowa before so going to Galaxy Con would be my fourth time at one. I cosplayed as Eric Draven from Brandon Lee's The Crow. I tried my best with the makeup, specifically the markings. I didn't have a stencil so I had to apply them with my fingers so the markings look more thicker than they should but overall I think I still did good. I got to meet several actors,voice actors,special effects artists, and some movie writers and directors too like John DiMaggio(Bender), Derek Mears and Ken Kirzinger(Jason Vorhees), Matthew DeMeritt(E.T.), Marty Grabstein(Courage The Cowardly Dog), David Howard Thrton(Art the Clown), Robert Kurtzman(Director of Wishmaster), Damien Leone(Directo of Terrifier), Dan Green(Yami Yugi,Mewtwo,and Knuckles) and Nadji Jeter(Miles Morales in Insomiac's Spider-Man). I only got pics with John DiMaggio, David Howard Thorton, Damien Leone, and Dan Green since it was $60 for a picture with any of them so I went with the ones who I wanted pitures with the most. I met several other amazing people and brilliant cosplayers as well. Overall the was one of my favorite trips from last year and I can't wait to go to Galaxy Cone again this year.
The last couple of days have been nothing but rain so I'm glad that the weather today's very nice. I still have some work around the back deck to get done, primarily the branches growing around the deck railings and the wall of the house. It's suppose to be nice weather through the weekend with the acception of the heat advisory warning but as long as I stay hydrated and cool off as much as I can then I should be fine. I also need to go to the laundrymatt sometime thelis weekend plus I need to head to the movie ther too since 28 Years Later comes out tomorrow. I'm absolutely excited for 28 Days Later. I've been waiting for a third film to the 28 Days Later series for a good long while.😊👍
I needed to clean up most of the weeds around the ac unit and the back deck. I used the weed eater for most of it but a lot of it required me to use the hedge trimmer and pulling most of the weeds out. I haven't got all of it fully done but I'm gonna rest up a bit and take care of the rest of the yard work tomorrow.
