The smart thing to do right now would be to stay home and spend some much needed time updateing my website. The fun thing to do would be to go out have a drink and watch a movie.

It was the Patti Smith work that turned me on the Mapplethorpe way back when. Partly because I just love her as a musician and partly because the pictures have such and intimacy to them. I really hope someday I can capture someone like that.

In some ways its like that with Ashes and I. More so back when we were dating and less so now that we are just friends. It's still there to some extent though.
