Stuck here in Kuwait. Been here 3 weeks, only 14 weeks to go. Hot as hell. 12 hour days, 6 days a week. Lots of work, but great money.
I am one of the lucky ones tho. I have a good job to return to back in Canada. Most guys here are contractors who are here because there I no work in there country. Great guys I am working with tho. Mostly Brits, who are a fucking blast. Wickedly awesome.
Kuwait = no beer. Or shitty beer/alcohol that you can get from peeps. Expensive an taste like crap. So I was happy to get an invite for this past Thursday to go the bristish embassy. Was sweet. Went with some of my new British friends. Had a bunch of 'real' beers. Some of my coworkers who are Canadian are pissed because I got an invite after a couple weeks to go, and they have been here for 15 months without one. Fuck them though.
Barbi has sent me vids/pics everyday I have been away. Reminding me of what I have waiting for me back at home. I'll share some with you.
