A couple of days back you posted in the favourite label thread that you worked for Murderecords, very cool, it's my favourite Canadian label. I was really into that whole music scene, Hardship Post were my fav's. Anyhow, it got me thinking about a band that I've been trying to find recordings of for a friend, and thought you may know how to go about tracking something down. They were called Blackpool and put out at least one disc called Scraps From The Table, and I know Chris Murphy was in the band at one point but don't know much else. I don't think they were ever on your label but they were a part of the early scene. If there is someone you know who might be willing/able to help me I would be very grateful.

ha, being born in toronto i kinda share that same "blob" mentality. like, as far as i'm concerned all the provinces between ontario and bc are one giant frozen wasteland of praries. quebec is, well, quebec. and the martime provinces is canada's south. (as in your southern states)
