A couple of days back you posted in the favourite label thread that you worked for Murderecords, very cool, it's my favourite Canadian label. I was really into that whole music scene, Hardship Post were my fav's. Anyhow, it got me thinking about a band that I've been trying to find recordings of for a friend, and thought you may know how to go about tracking something down. They were called Blackpool and put out at least one disc called Scraps From The Table, and I know Chris Murphy was in the band at one point but don't know much else. I don't think they were ever on your label but they were a part of the early scene. If there is someone you know who might be willing/able to help me I would be very grateful.

I am looking into a trip to see my beloved Kings play the Flames and Oilers. One year I saw them in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa and was able to squeeze in a game in Buffalo vs. the Black Hawks.
Oh and a band I am working with plays the Casbah on the 4th of Feb. I posted it on the site. If I come down, I'll let you know.

I'm trying to control my starches and sugars and let me tell you what. I feel totally balanced! No more sleepy shit in the afternoon and weird fucking sugar spikes. So I made this mash where I used half cauliflower and half potato and it fucking rocks!
