the ending of pattern recognition WAS frustrating. the book started off pretty promising, but then the footage thing went nowhere and case got with an intarnet man. just weird. oh well.
i really don't read very much lately, busy with school work mostly. one of the last books i read was plain clothes naked by the author of permanent midnight. weird, weird book. not sci fi though. i need to read more often.
best female gibson character is still molly, although chia pet wins for best name.

I kept expecting something to come of the connection with Cayce's father. That that went nowhere kind of irked me. Not to mention that once she found the sisters responsible for the footage, they didn't really take part in the story very much.
What's bizarre is I can say all that and still say it was one of his best books... The first two thirds of it really, really rock.
