I had a few friends who had some birthdays this past week so I did a fair share of spending cash. Not the most wise thing to do still being without employment. Worked a thesis film set which is always nonpaying and Monday downtown is a political documentary which is also ... guess what ... non-pay.
Two nights ago I went to the Azure Ray show at the Knitting Factory ::shudders:: Saddle Creek kids... I called my sister from the show and she said quote, "Oh God I hope they brought a box of tissues with them." And no saddle creek kid can be let down when Conor Oberst pops his spaced head in for a few songs with other bands... Yeah I was still cheesy enough to get a photo with him.
Last night I was doing some Karaoke at 2nd on 2nd which is misleading because its really more on 1st than 2nd. Anyway it's next to the Hole and outside I saw Tori and Sam, and Sam had to call me on my "mainstream" attire.
Thanks to all for the job hunt well wishing. It's coming along slowly but I have a good feeling. MORE TO COME...

Thanks, those pics are from the camera I was talking about a while back - my new 4 megapixel one. They do look pretty damned good, even for a shitty photographer like myself.
