i was in indy all weekend.

it feels as though it has been raining for weeks when indeed it has only been raining, off and on, since thursday. but the rain, wet, cold, gray makes me blue. i've been edgy, introspective, and moody ever since new year's day.

it's so stupid in a way, because i can see outside of it. i know that i am this way because of the weather and because of my brain chemistry. it's happened a thousand times. it's a cycle that, i know, will come 'round. but recognizing what's going on doesn't always make it go away. i think discovering this concept was the contributing factor to making me cynical. but i suppose it's like the weather. some days will be dark and wet, others will be bright and sunny. since most of my mental anguish is self-imposed, i get through it with the faith that this rain will indeed stop and i will feel the sun on my face again.

in other news, i saw Bubba Ho-Tep this weekend at South Keystone. fun, fun.
