back at work. not too bad.
sometimes happy, sometimes sad.

this is the season when things slow down and become a bit more relaxed. basically my job is to write and produce audio for clients that want to advertise on our station. most companies and stores have blown their proverbial load for xmas, so they have nothing left in their advertising budgets, which means a slowdown for me.

it's welcome.

i've seen kill bill far too many times for my own good. a pirate friend of mine gave me the surround sound s-vcd about a week ago and i've got so many pals that haven't seen it that i keep getting roped into watching it. it's a fun film. i really like the soundtrack.

i was inspired by unravled's journal and all the lyrics she writes down. i find that i can sum up many feelings, moods, and situations with lyrics too. an excerpt from the song that's been on my mind today....
