It's our one-year anniversary.
We celebrated by looking at giant octopuses! (Apparently the plural isn't 'octopi' but 'octopuses'. I'm not entirely sure if that's linguistically legitimate, but I'll buy it!
I've also been listening to
Avenue Q, which has the charming distinction of having "WINNER OF 3 2004 TONY AWARDS INCLUDING BEST MUSICAL" and "PARENTAL ADVISORY = EXPLICIT CONTENT" on the front, along with a fuzzy soft looking thing. I guess something like "Everyone's a little bit racist" has the blow softened a bit when it's freaking MUPPETS (actually not, since that's a registered trademark) singing...

Today has been a really slow day. I cleaned my toilet bowl and everything. It's been really nice living alone lately... there's a sense of independence and need to tend to my home that has really helped with peace of mind. I don't ALWAYS have to think about academics, because I can always clean my house instead. (Is this the kind of atittude that leads to meth addiction? Well, if I needed to PERFECTLY clean my house, perhaps...) I feel rather authoriative in being able to keep someplace remotely clean. That means I'm stable, yes?
