The first week of school's absolutely flown by . I've been a naughty slacker and havne't been scheduling my meetings and office hours for the next couple of weeks, but oooh I'm high on being finished! Mentally, I still haven't fully recovered from that experience...

Classes -- I wish I'd taken upper-level photography, because this course is just far too basic for me. Ah well, hopefully I'll be able to pull out the advanced photography class when I need that last studio class to cram (fishlike) into my major requirements... french is bien, yozz. Postmodernism and Illuminated Manuscript Class both are comically similar in class format to topic (i.e. Postmodernism is an overcrowded conference filled with quickly delivered sound bytes and reliance on modern multimedia capabilities, while Manuscript is a long, somber affair full of historical contextualization. So good!

I've had my hood piercing out for a couple of weeks and the hole is still totally there. Thanks, mutilated genitals! You rock.

Have any of you heard People Like Us? If you can find her music... I very conditionally recommend it. I also recommend looking at the thumbanil of this set in my little set-box that isn't up yet. It's a HOT SHOT.

I try not to think that there's anything better than what I already have. But sometimes, I wouldn't mind if we were aflame.

historical contextualisation is so very yummy, isn't it? especially when sprinkled with archaic french.

Wow, People Like Us... is Vicki Bennett. She collabs with friends of mine Matmos and Wobbly occasionally, Though I haven't met her myself. You found her site on ubuweb? http://www.ubu.com/sound/plu.html . Also check out http://www.kvalda.com/music/People%20Like%20Us_Wobbly_Matmos/Wide%20Open%20Spaces/
Take care
