The set Unravel was the very first set that i shot with Missy, so it was about a year ago, in July. Looking at these pictures, I feel that this is my favorite set. I mean, damn, look at those colors! I have a kind of vaguely drugged-out, distant expression in some of the pictures and I have to say that I don't ACTUALLY live in that kind of narcotic haze.

In truth I've got a cute lil' condo over here, on the island of Tenuous Hold on Reality.

I'm currently sitting under a heat cap trying to get my hair to the same tone as in the photographs... however, it's quite difficult. It's a cellophane wrap which're notoriously diffuclt to do correctly. After the last time I did it, I was forced to dye it back to simple black due to my job (a crappy retail job). I've never forgiven them... believe me, I've shaken my fist MANY A TIME in their direction!

Spoke to the lovely (the one the only the inimitable) Absinthe on the telephone today. And kids she's just as awesome as you'd think. And soon I'll get to meet her. Aw right.

I'm FINALLY reading the Sandman series. Yes, somehow I've survived being a comic book fan AND angsty goth-filled adolescence without this landmark of subcultura. It's quite good. Although it's been kind of soul-sucking to sit in a darkened room staring at a screen (I received it on disc) this consistently. God, the entire series in 3 days or so... yeh, I can do that.
